This site collects very little. Here is exactly what, and why.

What I collect
The mentorship application. When you apply on the mentorship page, the form sends your first name, email address and WhatsApp number. They are stored in a database hosted by Supabase and passed into my contact system so I can follow up with you about mentorship. After you submit, the form offers a WhatsApp link with a short message already typed. Nothing is sent on WhatsApp unless you press send.
Email you send me. If you write to joe@theconnectionmap.com, I keep the conversation in my inbox so I can reply and keep track of what we discussed.
Server logs. The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes technical request data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

What I do not do
- No analytics or tracking scripts, and no advertising pixels.
- No cookies or browser storage set by this site. Fonts are served from this site, not loaded from Google.
- I do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Embedded video and outside links
Some pages embed videos from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube receives your request when the player loads and may store data in your browser once you play a video. Its own privacy policy applies to that. Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify and my other sites take you to services with their own policies.

Your choices
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email joe@theconnectionmap.com from the address you used and I will take care of it. I keep application details until you ask me to delete them.
